This website is a link to lots of other really good websites. Most of the links are fun with lots of activities for teachers of kids and adults. Also most of the sites are free which is extremely important as us poor teachers cannot afford to pay for our materials!

I don't know what I would do without this website. I teach FCE and IELTS and this website is full of uesful tips and lessons for students and teachers to use. All are free and easy to use. If you are going to do one of these exams now or in the future go and have a look!

My busy weekend

Well last weekend was pretty hectic. I met with some friends on Friday at 10pm in Plaza Nunoa with some friends. On Saturday I wemt shopping with my boyfriend and spent too much money and then we went to a friend's house for dinner. The food was amazing - prawns, oysters in wine and cerviche! On Sunday we had to go to Penaflores (have I spelt this correctly??) as we have some friends there who have a beautiful parcela in the countryside. We had an 'asado' with some nice wine and I played table tennis with Roxanna the nana! The only problem is that it took us three hours too get home as there were 'muchos tacos' on the motorway. I know I shouldn't use Spanish but if you can practice your English why can't I practice my Spanish!!! Ha ha!

I really love this song. The words are very simple but extremely poetic. It is about a guy who is inlove with a girl and he justs wants her to notice him - to realise when he is not in the same room. I really like the line 'Your skin makes me cry' becuase in these few words I have an image of this beautiful, very gentle girl with almost angelic qualities. I also feel sorry for the guy as he feels awkward in life and that he doesn't fit in.
